Overview and Experience

Henry began his professional career as a design engineer for Hewlett-Packard Corporation. He then moved to 3Com Corporation where he was a project manager for new product development. After 16 years working as an engineer, Henry decided to begin his career as a patent attorney with Pennie & Edmonds. Yet, after only a few years, he was then recruited by Palm Inc, maker of the Palm Pilot, to serve as assistant general counsel for intellectual property. He was then recruited to Altera Semiconductor Corporation (acquired by Intel Corporation) to serve as Senior Patent Counsel. Henry then decided to join a private practice and joined an IP boutique in Toronto, Canada where he practiced patent law for 10 years while raising his family. Afterwards, Henry was recruited to be the director of intellectual property of a consumer safety technology company, and after the company was acquired, Henry came to join Lee IP Law. Henry is a seasoned patent attorney with a wide breadth of experience and successful record.
